Noticed water in the catch pan underneath washer. back of cabinet is dry, no leaks at hose connections to back of washer. drain hose dry at connection to back of washer. approx. 1/8 to 3/16" of water in pan. machine is about 6 yrs. old. where should I look first?

machine doesn't have a removable front panel. Have to swing up the front of the control panel. found leaking hose that feeds the drum from the multi valve.
Had water underneath and some coming out bak of holes in back cover...found hose coming from multi-valve to top of drum had come loose from it's connection. The connection locks in by placing the connector in the hole and turning ninety degrees.
This was a Kenmore 22922 Top Load Washer
the drain hose is underneath the washer, how do I clean it out
