My nokia 5130c-2 v06.94 screen is becoming dark & is sometimes getting hanged. Even while connecting to a charger, it is not getting charged. The mobile switches off and again to restart it takes a lot of effort. Is it a problem with the software? Is there a problem with the hardware? The phone is one and a half years old.

HI, IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THE BATTERY IS BAD OR YOU COULD CHECK YOUR CHARGER...IF THE BATTERY IS BAD IT WILL DISCHARGE VERY FAST AND IF THE CHARGER IS BAD, IT WILL TAKE LONGER TIME TO CHARGE OR NOT EVEN CHARGED AT ALL.THE ISSUE OF HANGING COULD BE THAT THE PHONE HAS TOO MUCH LOAD ON IT PRESENTLY THAT IS MORE THAN IT CAPABILITY...SO, YOU COULD TRY DELETE SOME THINGS ON THE PHONE..

nokia mobile 5130c-2 restarts if any application open like games,calculator etc.

Go to setting option than choose back to factory setting with code 1234 or 1122 or 3344.

Try these and tell me the result.
1. Try to charge from a different charger.
2. Use another battery and try to on the phone.
3. After plug on the charger press power on/off button for a while. If nothing happened on your mobile after use these 3 tips then visit Nokia service center for installing the operating system on your phone. If the OS is corrupt then the mobile going under dark. No movement, no signaling of charging nothing. Even you can't update it from internet right now. Because the phone memory is fully dead. Its happened with all mobiles if the OS corrupt. Its was happened also in my Nokia N73.

well connect ur data cable to pc & phone. when u do so, u'll get options on ur phone like
1. PC Suite Service
2. Mass Storage & all..
select PC suit service & then its done.
but for PC suite service, u need nokia pc suit on ur pc too..

Iam unable to conect my 5130c 2 to pc through data cable as the driver cd not supplied with the pack

Sounds like a problem with the battery. Is it a problem to make a telephone call and do you have a humming noise?(gsm sound)?
