Samsung 50" plasma won't turn on

Our 50" plasma began making a clicking sound when we would turn it on. The power on became delayed and it would take the tv between 10 seconds and 45 seconds to turn on, Now, there is no power to the tv at all.

Please Help! We have only had this $2,400 tv for 18 months and it is out of warranty!

    Same problem.

The screen started out by flicker so you

could only see half the screen.

Now a clicking noise and no picture.

No warranty left and no repair shop in my area

    according to SAMSUNG.

    Piece of ****!

Mine is a 50",. Turned itself off while viewing then repeatedly tried to restart but only clicked. Sound was fine. Unplugged overnight and tv works fine but now has a humming noise.

it's not the capacitors, they check ok here but still could be to weak and cause other component to overheat,so I will keep checking component until I find the one who blew

I check the capacitors and they all show ok on the power board, and first I check all the fuses, mine got 4 small fuse,2 of them on the power board.

My 42" plasma is making a clicking sound, then it switches off and keeps clicking but not switching back on, when it does go back on it stays on for just a few moments, it is only 14months old.

I've replaced every board on the samsung plasma and still clicks

What do you mean by clicks? Plasma televisions are hot cathode ray, there is thermal expansion that takes place due to heat.
