If the remote is not working, then disarm the alarm manually. Turn the ignition on and press and release the valet switch one time. You should hear two chirps from the alarm. Start the car. If the car starts then replace the remote battery. If the vehicle fails to start after disarming the alarm then there could several other issues. Does the vehicle attempt to start, i.e. clicking from the starter, motor tries to turn over, etc.? Does the car battery have the power to start the car?
