Hotpoint WF250-Loud banching when spinning

When the machine is in spin the drum is making a banging sound. I stopped the cycle and emptied the machine and finished the spin and it was fine when it was empty. Tried a small wash and the same happened.

i have had a noisey machine since i bought it 2+ years ago...I assumed it was noisey due to the 1500 spin.

Now the top has come off and there is dust on the floor around the front and rear...Any ideas and can it be repaired?

Hi I just opened the top of the machine and wow the cement block had fallen off...
the support bolts going through the block that attach to the drum have snapped from the plastic they are inserted to.
What a load of rubbish from Hotpoint..
now will they replace it..can i buy the part myself?

Hotpoint aquarius wml760 noisey when spinning with stuff in but ok empty

more than likely the rear bearing has gone bad and when a load is applied the difference in weight distribution causes the knocking.

How to replace drum bearing for hotpoint aquarius+ wf740

My machine is just over 3 years old and although there is no play in the rear drum bearing it is very noisey on spin.
It gets progessively loud the faster the spin speed.

Hotpoint wf250 drum wont spin

Well if you see the drum move in the wash cycle than the belt is still attached.Your door latch is the first thing to check. And the control board is the next and most likely problem.

Hotpoint Aquarius WF250 Loud banging when spinning

The hardest amount to balance is a load with just one item.Because you have nothing to counter balance the other side. So,first off,put in a normal load ,make sure your washer is level by using a level to assure it is, other wise if its not all the clothes will group in one spot where its not level ,than when time to spin you have a un balanced load.
