On the A5 the hopper or Cyclone feed is powered thru a small tube on the feeder side
of the gun. Make sure that tube is connected and if so, pull it off and see if air is flowing
thru it when you pull the trigger. If not, the internal passage may be blocked. Tear down
the gun and clean out the obstruction. If there is a pulse of air coming out the tube when firing
then it may be the Cyclone feed mechanism. Just unscrew the 3 phillips head bolts
under the Cyclone and observe the air driven gear drive. Air up the marker and see
what is moving or not moving. Complete replacement upgrade Cyclone gear drives
are available that say they increase performance if you cant get it moving.

This a genesis lethal threat paintball gun I just got it and I am new to paintball what size paintball do I get for my gun please get back to me as soon as possible thank you

First off do you have a hopper and an air tank or co2 tank with air or co2 in it. If no get those things and fill your tank at a local paintball field. If yes your gun takes a .68 caliber paintball. That's really any paintball that you can buy at Walmart or sports authority.

I have response trigger on my a5 and only shots one shot at a time when pointing straight. When i raise the gun to the air and shot it response trigger works. What could be the problem?

If you are using CO2 it may be affecting the system. With a gun down straight, you could draw liquid CO2 into the internals. A siphon tube can be installed in a CO2 tank to stop or manage this. If you have access to someone's air tank, try using HPA (high pressure air aka nitrogen). If it fires fine with air you have deducted that the CO2 is to blame. Simple. Switch to air. It's better for the gun anyway! Now if the air didnt change anything I would think a component of the response trigger system is to blame. I am not familiar with the response trigger( I use E-grips) but I would think that a part that may slide or move forward or bak when you lift the gun up would be to blame. Most local shops should be able to diagnose the problem. I did find an installation video by Tippmann on youtube.

Every time i hook up the co2 tank the air sprays out from the inner body body of it. around the power tube and valve i think? i guess the airlock isnt working but i dont know what part? can u help??

Look at the "Tombstone". This is where the air comes up to the gun from the
bottle. There is an O-ring that is supposed to be toward the trigger side of the tube and many
times they fall out and there is no seal. You may need to buy an O-ring kit and replace the O-rings to fix the problem.
Here is your owners manual and diagram. I own 2 of these and after a few times
taking them apart it will be second nature.

Tippman A-5 with low pressure kit, e-grip. When pull the trigger gun shoots fully auto until I manually stop it by re cocking the gun.

Sounds like the gun needs lube. Oil it and try again. 2-3 drops of oil in the hole
where the tank screws on then put the tank back on. Fire it and see how it does.
I havent heard of a low pressure kit for the A-5 but I think it is a waste. There is a rule
with pressure and paintball guns. Low pressure=high volume of air used.
Standard pressure=regular volume. I have 2 a-5's with e-grips and flatlines.
I polished the internals by sanding the bore of the tube (use fine sandpapaer) and
this makes the velocity very consistent.
One thing that comes to mind is that the hammer may not be getting caught on the
trigger latch. Makes sure your gun is assembled correctly. here is your manual.

My A5 just rapid fires when the trigger is pulled even in semi, if you release the trigger it stops but does it everytime I pull the trigger and the E-trigger seems to be working fine

Make sure your battery is new. It doesn't take a lot of voltage drop to affect performance.

Make sure your marker is clean, and properly lubed with a quality oil make for paintball.

Make sure your board connections are secure. You can change modes on the e-trigger yes? Go through them and fire a few times in each to ensure it's changing.

Make sure you have a full tank of air while your testing to make sure this isn't a problem as well, or causing your issues.

Good luck!

Just upgraded all the internals and skeleton

Some trigger upgrades do not work well with Tippmann guns specially with the E-trigger. I will exchange one upgrade at the time for elimination in order to find out which is causing the problem.

98 Custom Act Paintball Gun: i want it to go fasteer...

I can take that a couple of ways. Do you mean you want to fire more balls per second or you want the paintballs themselves to fly faster?

If you want to fire faster, make sure it's clean and properly lubed with a quality oil that made for paintball. Practice makes perfect and fire that ****** as often as you can, even without paint (that's cheaper!) so you can get your trigger finger in shape.

There are custom mods to the trigger, or you can buy a trigger that's smoother or a shorter pull. There are electronic trigger assemblies that make firing faster even easier.

If you're talking about making the balls fly out of the gun faster, that would be the "velocity adjustment". Your user guide shows you how to make that adjustment and which direction is up, and which is down.

A good suggestion is to check out a local field or paintball store, or an airsmith and they can give you some definite ideas you will want to pursue.

Good luck!

My tippmann 98 custom pro is shooting automatic by itself... i just installed my etrigger but when i hook the co2 up to it, it shoots automatic

The reason for this malfunction can be caused for two things, one is that the trigger is not sitting right or one of the springs is not in place another reason that may cause the problem is over lubing the hammer, but must likely is the trigger not holding the hammer in the rear position until you pull the trigger. Hope this helps.

How to remove a responce trigger from tippman a5 paintball gun

To remove the response trigger you need to first remove the grip frame. Remove the piston and replace the fitting that supplies air to the piston with a plug. you can find this at any local paintball store or online at www.badlandspaintball.com. If you can't find this plug than you can leave it open as it is not under pressure all the time only when the marker is fired, you will waste air this way. Good luck
