I have a phillips 37" TV model # 37PF7320A/37, and when I turn it on, the light on the front comes on, but I have no picture or sound. In the back of the TV, near where the plug goes in, I hear a clicking every 10 to 15 seconds, as if it's trying to come on. Any suggetions as to what the problem might be?

moswt of these i have come accross is either an SSB(small signal board) or a logic board. in rear cases it even requires the replacement of the panel unfortunety ther are a number of test that need to be done on the unit to figure which one it is and i dont recomend you try them yourself.

SOURCE: Red light flashing

ctf1800,

I would love to have that service manual. My Philips 37PF7320A died 4 days ago with the typical 1-4 blinking lights. The fuses are fine but I found a 100 ohm 1/4 w resistor that was dead and replaced it, but no change. Now I have looked closer at the "dead" resistor and after the brown-black-brown and there is a poorly applied green band before the gold one, so I'm not sure what I have. I guess I need to get a high resistance tester off eBay.

SOURCE: 37PF7320A 37 problem hooking up dvd

Connect the DVD to the back of the set on AV2 red white and yellow rca cable . Then to the other end to the DVD red white and yellow. Turn the DVD on and press play. On the tv remote below the number 7 there is an AV button. Press that button and put the tv to AV2. Your DVD picture should be there.

SOURCE: Philips 50 Inch Plasma Model 50PF7320A/37 will not turn on

Commonly it's going to be a power supply related problem. The two boards that need to be looked at is the Main Power Supply Board or the power supply board for the screen. The one that powers the screen, some manufactures call it a Backlight Inverter Board.
If you have some electronic experience, you can sometimes find a Service Manual for the TV over the internet for less than $20. It will have the all resource material for repairing your TV model. It's just the matter of replacing the bad part on the circuit board.

The power board numbers you need to search for on eBay is 310432847531 or 310432838621 - they are compatible according to Philips.

37in model 37pf7320a/37 , wont stay off settings mode

I fixed a Phillips 37" TV that was doing this by re-soldering the wire/pin joints on the button board (side of TV). You have to take the TV apart and have a soldering iron to do this, of course. But it's really not that hard to do.

No picture or sound just six red blinking lights

Use your warranty in a hurry before it expires. Your TV when into protection mode to prevent further damage. Most TVs have a 1 year warranty. Good Luck.

Philips 37PF7320A/37 won't turn on

That blinking led is an error code for the audio standby board in the set. It should not go out this soon and yes it should last longer.

Check the firmware and if it is not BX23U-1.5.0.0_03531 go to www.usasupport.com and down load the current software on to the set wil a USB stick. If the problem is still there replace the small signal baord.

The TV is in some kind of protection mode, the blinking LED show you an error code.
Try pressing 062596 and then press menu button (do these in quick motion, don't let them to time out while keying)...see what happens
I also heard that this problem appeared with some people because the of the burnt fuse in the TV. To fix that it has to be taken to the tech shop. mecry.gif
And yes I also heard about this issue many times, seems like this TV set is very popular with this kind of problem.
