Hi, I'm sorry, it sounds problem with lcd panel (screen) that is defective and causing lower half distorted image. If tv is under warranty then call number written on warranty documents for warranty cover or lcd panel (screen) replacement would cost you approx 80% of new tv price. Hope these info will help you. it sounds like a bad t-con board. this board my not be sold without geting the whole screen. the t-con borad is at the top of the screen and connects to your main board
I'm having the same problem. I have noticed on mine that the menu when brought up is clear and I can see it perfectly. The picture on all the inputs is just as described above though. BUT, like I said I can see the menu just fine. This leads me to believe that it's not the panel. Anyone have a solution to this, or at least know what could be causing it?
The LCD Panel must be replaced to fix both problems. The cost in doing this would exceed the value of the set. I recommend not putting the money into it.

Hi there,it looks as if you have a frame collaps,this is the first time i have ever heard of this on an LCD tv,i take it that there is no picture at all only a thin line.
