Remove lid then control panel. Unhook all terminals, remove control board, then second "box" which is further away towards back of machine. Sensor is 'back/right," under this second box. Unhook connectors & remove wee sensor carefully. On the side of the sensor is a tiny plastic button the size of a pen top. This should move in & out freely. It is spring loaded. If it sticks replace it. Good luck on your mission.

Yep same problem. Previously fixed by removing sensor & freeing up with CRC. Not this time! Still start/surge/stop/start/surge/stop...beep. Do I need new sensor or whole new control board? Is that the board under the buttons?
Anniefix here again. I replaced balance sensor with "new" part from local electrical supplier. Cost $39. They quoted $450 to repair machine, and suggested replacing with new machine. Old machine now running sweet as! For $39! Dontcha love Do-it-Yourself?!!!!
I have the same problem. If it is the "balance sensor", where on the machine do I find it to replace it?
