In some cases, there may not be any ring tone and system sounds on the HTC Touch when the device has not been soft reset after a few weeks of usage. Performing a soft reset will resolve this problem. My phone is not ringing out from handset, when using a bluetooth I can hear it ringing through the bluetooth only.
when I go in to Ringtone & Notifications and set it to max, the setting reverts back, why is this?
Hi friends! even i am owner of one HTC Touch mobile facing the same problem that whenever someone was ringing me he was getting ring on his mobile but my mobile did not even respond. Initially i tried all, i contacted my network subscriber, i.e AIRTEL, they said that my SIM card is old so i should get it changed. I got a new SIM with same number but things did not resolve. People started thinking that i am deliberately not lifting calls. So, i quit using HTC TOUCH and brought a new cheap Nokia mobile. For months, my HTC Touch was like a paper weight on my desk till finally i thought to make it work again. This time i changed the Network and brought Vodafone post-paid connection. Since none knew my new number so, problem of incoming call could not be evaluated but i found one new blunder in mobile. HTC Touch only recognises HUTCH and not VODAFONE. This problem came when i tried to set GPRS connection. I was given MANUAL setting by the customer care which never worked. I really got pissed off and thought why i brought this mobile. Finally i went back to shop where i purchased this, who ultimately directed me to HTC Authorised service centre. When i reached there, engineer immediately recognised the problem and told me that
1.) Some pre-paid mobiles like AIRTEL have low frequency and sometime difficult for handset to pick it up. 2) In HTC Touch the software is not able to pick low frequencies. Good news was that he had solution. He UPGRADED MY HTC TOUCH SOFTWARE TO HTC DIAMOND WINDOWS 6.1 SOFTWARE. and after restart my problem was resolved. But a new problem arises, HTC Touch loses its charm to Touch Flo. Instead of a 3D Touchflo menu which was why i brought Touch, a 2D diamond type menu comes.

pls reset ur device for some reason the call handling software has been corrupted dont worry just backup ur data and reset the device as follows
hard rest factory default settings = when ur set is switched off press both buttons call and end key and then press power button on upside of pda for like 5 sec screen will appear asking to format all data take out ur card if u dont want to format that now confirm by pressing the centre action button in 4 side joystick and go
if not solved then go to www.htc.com for latest Rom update download and update backup ur data first

same problem of phone sometimes not ringing. I can watch the missed call show up on the screen. Text notification sound always works without a problem. The clock quite often goes goofy randomly displaying times and our or 2 early or late. Have done several hard resets and a few soft resets, but same problems. Really lousy phone but makes a good PDA
I am using htc touch. when someone trying to call me they have their phone ringing but in my celfon I didn't get neither miss call not my pone ring,it happen sometime not regularly.
My phone will not ring when the touch screen is in sleep mode.
I have a less than 30 day HTC Touch and would like to know if I have major problem. Occasionally, my Touch won't ring when someone calls. Whenever I keep it on Vibrate mode in office and than into Normal mode while out, It remains silent and I am unable to know the incoming call.
Is there a known issue or feature that I need to be aware of? Can I replace the phone? I am traveling out of india, I need solution immediately.

I am also facing the same problem on HTC 3350 Love model.
My phone does not rings when someone calls me and I am not getting this in missed call listing also.
As told by other peoples, this problem not comes at all times, but only at some times.
Can anyone give the solution for this problem.

I am unable to receive calls. No call notification. Some times even sms donot reach my inbox. HTC support asked me to perform a hard reset but it is not working. I am totally frustrated with this...
