Reset Hotel mode - LG 37LG50 37 in. LCD HDTV

go into tv set up and turn off hotel and turn on home

Open up the menu and do a factory reset. This will make it a normal TV again.

Getting out of the hotel mode is very easy. Just go get the Panasonic remote and open your tv. Go near the tv and hold down the V/- button on the television itself. Then use the remote and press the AV button for 3 times. A hidden menu on the television screen will appear. Turn off the "Hotel Mode" from the menu and exit. Do not touch anything from the hidden menu except the hotel mode. Now you can use your tv in normal mode. The remote is required to access the hidden menu so be sure your remote is working and has working or full charged battery before doing the steps above

Try finding a U tube video on how to get it out of hotel mode or go the the TV manufacturers website to get the operators manual for your model of TV. You may see a section on the setup menu to turn hotel mode off.

You have to enter its service mode option to release the Hotel mode. For that, you should have its 'Service Remote Control'; not the user remote control. It will be best to contact the authorized service center for LG. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan

To do a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you cannot find the remote control at all, you will need to reprogram the EPROM IC. This IC is inside the tv, with numbers starting or in between 24c02.... Please contact any qualified tehnican for further help. The IC i mentioned is programmed and at present it is locked through Hotel Mode. Also try to look RESET switch, to reset the whole unit. You need to go to service mode. Here how you go - use Samsung remote off the TV then press Mute-1-8-2-Power. Tv then boost up the service mode which is you could fine the line - user reset or hotel mode or both. You can press the user reset. If there is hotel mode - check it and put it OFF. Good luck

M (menu) 7935 (regular menu appears), them press 4725 (menu service appears), then search HTLSRC (position 090), then set value 032 (this value disables Hotel Mode) - TV. Now Hotel Mode is deactivated. It is verified!
