Check the LOT. If it is faulty, horizontal output transistor will blow out. Check the capacitor connected across the collector of the horizontal output transistor to Gnd. 2 blinks means - over current protection (OCP) , unit goes to the standby
mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of
any of the circuits.

Problem with the audio (AUDIO), unit goes to standby and blinks the self-diagnosis code. Check IC406 audio amp, PS401, and 402. On some projection models of Sony TV sets, this code means that T8005 (flyback transformer), or the associative components in the high voltage circuits are defective on the D board.

sounds like the vertical output IC and the filter capacitor in the vertical power supply.

You can either connect the antenna output of the VCR to TV ant in or hookup the audio/video outputs from VCR to audio/video TV inputs. If using the antenna output you need to sellect channel 3 or 4 to view VCR. If using the adio/video lines you need to select the line input on TV to view VCR.

I have not worked on your particular model. But, I have serviced many TV sets over the years. My answer will ge generic.

Check all the capacitors in the horizontal output stage and power supply areas for high ESR. All the caps that are out of spec must be changed.

The high voltage multiplier & flyback can also cause the fault you are having.

You have to consider that the DC voltages are not the only important spec that has to be met. There are also many power drive signals that work with reactive devices. If there is any defect in the critical areas there will be failures.

I have one of these TVs and still love it.  The manual says that the weight is listed at 250lbs (approx.).  Most of the TV stands in retail stores only hold up to 240lbs., so that is something to consider.

check video processor output diagram and signal amplitude if u can find video processor raplace it and try it must work
