Cannot get my 6210 Head-set to turn on now, it's fully charged, but it will not turn on and it doesn't beep now. Is there another way to reset the unit besides pressing the buttons out-lined in the manual?

I see there are several users with the same problem. Is there a "fix" for this type of problem. I see there are several users with the same problem. Is there a "fix" for this type of problem.
I have 18 brand new units (15 in sealed cardboard Netcom box holding 6 unit boxes) with production dates as far back as 2005.
3 out of the 18 work fine but the remaining 15 headsets (different batch) show 4 green lights on the craddle when you put the headset on the craddle straight out of the box but shows no blue light and when removed off the craddle will not turn on. The 3 that do work immediately show a blue light when they charge and as expected only show 1 out of 4 green lights showing low charge straight out the box. I can only assume that the rechargeable batteries are dead? I have emailed GN Netcom so I shall wait and see. Unfortunately I bought about a year ago from eBay so I guess I will not be covered! I believe patrick187 and I are having the same issue, not a dial tone issue, it's literally that the headset will not turn on. Hold the MFB on the headset for ANY length of time and NOTHING. Any suggestions out there? I believe patrick187 and I are having the same issue, not a dial tone issue, it's literally that the headset will not turn on. Hi there, I have a similar problem to what many are outlining regaridng the GN Netcom 6210.
I have just taken it fresh out of the box (was sealed previously) and placed the headset in the provided cradle. The blue light flashes once...and only once and 4 green lights immediately light up and stay alit. (indicating that the headset is fully charged, even know its brand new out the box) but when I try and switch the headset on I get nothing....no light, no flash, no sound...nothing.
I see this is a common problem with this device, many have found this problem but none have suggested a solution. Surly 80% of these £149.00 headsets cant be broken? surely there is a logical answer to this??
Please advise.... Cheers.

If you mean no dial tone when you take it out of the cradle, I have run
into this. The solution is to unplug the power cord and then plug it
back in which resets the unit.

When I used this model in the past, it appears that the battery wasn't holding a charge after a year of use. I called them about it and told me that the battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore, there wasn't a battery replacement for it, and that I would have to replace it.
I believe Jabra is currently doing the support for GN. Support can be reached at this link:
It sounds like it may be a defective unit in that the charging points on the base and the earpiece are making intermittant contact, hence the clicking noise you get when the unit goes into headset mode and the fact that the battery never reaches a fully charged status.
A couple of things to try:
Check the charging points/contacts on the base and the earpiece for damage.
If they look ok, gently clean them with some spirits and try again.
