KV-32XBR450 32" TV Problem (con't)

Thanks for the response. How does one adjust the white balance on this particular TV? I do not have a schematic.

Also, adjusting the white balance would not (IMO) cure the lengthy turn-on time. Again, I think I need to replace the board for this.

Comments?

Thanks!

Actually TV system processor waits to get proper white balance signal and then it opens VIDEO MUTE signal for picture presentation. Here we think TV takes much time in giving picture.

My sony trinitron turns off by itself and then the stand by light blinks five times then pauses for like 4 seconds then flashes 5 times and repeats

Hi,
This is picture tube related problem and we call it incorrect white balance.
Adjust Screen Volts of picture tube and control knob wold be located on flyback transformer. If you have knowledge about tv and know that tv contains high voltage and you can take care of that then do it yourself or ask local tv repairman to fix it.
Thanks.

WON'T TURN ON 4 BLINKS,REPLACED IC 800,NO HELP.

If there is sound from the TV but no pictures and the indicator on the front of the TV is blinking four times then check if the projection lamp is okay.
Otherwise replace the projection lamp.

Sony Wega Kv-36XBR250 screen blinking

I have seen this flashing before, this could be an indication that the picture tube is weak, what happens is that if the white balance is off there is a circuit called akb it monitors the kathode of each gun and if they are not in balance it will attempt to balance it out. if it can't the picture will begin to flash, sometimes in some models the power light will blink 5 times. On some models the power light will only flash if the tv gives up trying to compinsate for white balance and shuts off compeletely. If you see the tv shutting off with 5 blinks then you know for sure it is time for a new set.

Sony KV 32FS13

Good day.
Your system is encountering a hold down issue. Ussually, this is the absence of signals due to malfunctioning parts particularly in the vertical circuitry.it could Eigther be an IC, transistor or a defective resistor. However, it can sometimes be remedied by simply resoldering the loose components in the circuitry.

response is highly appreciated.
