I purchased the scope from US. After mounting to a Tikka super varmit I bore sighted it using a Bushnell Bore Sighter. I have been unable to get the elevation to 600 metres as it stops at 400 metres on the sighter. Can you assist please. Kind regards **** Letcford

Easy this one!!!! undo the eye end of the scope and slip under the scope 3 strips or so of 35mm film then nip the scope back down this will lift the point of aim well above what you need,,,
do your self a faver though,,,throw away that bore sighter,,,and bore sight the scope at 100yds first,
but clamp the gun in a gun vice when sighting it in,,,,you need to get rid of all the wobbely bits first?
gess whats the bigest wobbley bit,,,,yep,,,,,you are!

I NEED instructios for a bushnell truescope bore sighter # 74-4001t's your problem?

install proper caliber pilot, install bore sighter big end towards the scope, tighten set screw on the machined part calber pilot. align holizontal line with the horizontal line on your scope. make your adjustments to zero your scope by clicking the up and down or right to left adjustments. it's really easy after you do it once.

I have a Bushnell Bore Sight with multiple adapters for various calibers, I have been looking for a bore sight for the 17 HMR, is there one available for the set without buying the entire set?

You can buy a laser bore sight that looks like a bullet that shoots a laser out. You just load it like a bullet and then sightyour scope to match it at the proper yardage. If you can remove the action(like with a bolt action) then you could just sight down the barrel(with the rifle in a gun vise) and then adjust your scope to point at the same thing you see through the barrel.

My cross hairs do not move when i adjust my sights. i bought a laser bore sighter and the laser points in the same exact spot no matter how far i turn my adjustments nor do my cross hairs move.

This happens a lot during bore sighting, - no shock to the scope to jar the cross hairs. So take your screwdriver and use the handle - rap the scope or better just tap it. Not hard enough to bend/dent it but jar it so things can move if need to.

Cannot get to the bull's eye. rifle shoots 2" to right of bull's eye. after two full turns left on windage - nothing happened. I',m ready to return to the store. Any help???

continue to adjust the wind-age. If your problem persists I would suggest turning both to a random point and re-start sighting the gun. If that does not fix the problem return the sight because this most likely means the wind-age is disconnected.

I aser bore sight my Bushnell banner. I need to

if it is verry tight back it off a little bit you dont want to break the seal.i have never been a big fan of the laser bore sighters.i have had a cpl and both were inaccurate.BSA makes a good bore sighter for 49 bucks.try a cpl shots with it and find out how far you are truely off.remember 1 click is 1/4 inch.in 100 yrds.in the army we had all the ammo we needed to sight our rifles in.but here in the real world with ammo prices so high a good bore sighter is the way to go.

Bushnell Sportview rifle scope wide angle 4x38 T4389 limited adjustment inconsistant results

Hello,
I had the same problem but was able to solve it by shimming the scope mounts with a thin piece of plastic. Put it under the rear to raise the sighting and under the front to lower. I still plan to buy my son a better scope.
