Be sure you have the proper needle - it is longer than standard needles, plus be sure that you put the needle in from left to right - not...front to back.

Juki DNU-241HU industrial sewing machine picking up bobbin thread but not stitching. What do I look for to fix this?

Question edited for clarity.

Back to basics. Unthread the machine. Remove the bobbin and make sure is is correctly located and lock. Re-thread the top end. Make sure the thread is through the eye of the needle and has a long tail.

I have juki 1541 industrial machine needle want pick up bobbin thread??

Is your needle inserted correctly? Try taking it out and inserting again. Is your bobbing threaded correctly? Try taking it out and re-threading. You might also try cleaning the bobbin area. The only other think I can think of is that you may have the wrong needle in.

My juki 8700 h frays thread while trying to sew

Hello Daniel, I suggest you start with a new needle. Back off the needle thread tension and the bobbin thread tension to a minimum and see how it sews. If it does not ravel the thread, you can increase the tensions until you acquire the stitch you want.

Not to familiar with the industrial machines. However, even with domestic models. the position of the 'needle' bar at the time you remove your fabric, does make a difference as to weather it pulls our smoothly or, you are going to get that "extra" loop. Needle should be half way up or all the way. maybe this might help

There is a wrong way and right way to insert a new needle in an industrial juki sewing machine. I happen to have a computerized model which way does the needle go into the machine?

-If your bobbin case is inserted from the left side of the machine, then the scarff( indentation on the back side of the needle ) should be on the right side as you insert the needle.

Juki ddl-227 industrial machine

Before all else. Turn off machine!
(1) break screws on the hook loose.
(2) tighten one back up very skightly, one you can reach when the needle bar is at its lowest position.
(3) lower needle bar to its lowest position.
(4) loosen the screw just tightened.
(5) position the tip of the hook behind the needle hole. the tip should be as close to the needle hole as possible without actually touching the needle
(6) tighten screws
(7) slowly hand turn the machine (depress the foot pedal to disengage clutch brake on motor) several revolutions to make sure the needle doesn't hit anything on the hook.
(8) if it passes this test, try on a scrap of fabric
