Basically you have 2 screws that hold on the cover panel on the right side of the TV. Once you take off the cover, you'll then see a metal tray with a handle. That has 3 screws, you can then pull out the tray and see the bulb/lamp. The lamp has 3 more screws that hold the little brackets that hold the lamp in place. Last you have the 2 power wires. One is connected by a screw on the left of the lamp, the other is attached by a nut and a washer on the back of the lamp, where you would usually screw in a normal light. The two wires are just connected to a single plug to the right of the lamp which you can remove, you get the new lamp with the wires already attached. All you have to do is plug it in after you mount it back up. -

most manufactures consider the lamp to be a consumable product so the
will give you instructions in the box with the new lamp..basicaly,,you
unplug the set..remove the lamp cover door,,remove the old
lamp,,install the new lamp,,replace the lamp cover door, plug in the
set...some companies want you to reset the lamp timer and that info is
in the owner manual..get an original lamp and not a generic one..call
the manufacturer with you model number and they will most likely sell
you one and ship it to you

It was fairly simple. The two wires are just connected to a single plug to the right of the lamp which you can remove, you get the new lamp with the wires already attached. All you have to do is plug it in after you mount it back up. Here is the info on purchasing a lamp, sorry but I am still in the process of learning how to reset the lamp indicator light
To reset lamp timer press and hold ENTER or OK on tv display and MUTE on remote at the same time for 5 to 10 seconds, lamp reset box will pop up you can then reset.

Message on screen says lamp needs to be replaced then timer reset. Need lamp and instructions to reset timer

The lamp time reset will be or should be in the owner manual---Google the model number with keywords "lamp install" with the model number and the "manual" with the model number---Google can be a great help.

I HAVE A 52" ZENITH

There are several models on several generations of Zenith manufactured LCD projection tv's. Without knowing the exact model of yours i can't be sure but in most of them the Lamp life counter is reseted this way: with the tv in stand-by, you press the "?" key on the remote then immediately you press 9,8,7,6 and then the OK. If the procedure was correct the 3 lights on the front of the tv will blink to signal the end of the reset procedure.
In others , hold down the Mute button on remote and Enter on TV at the same time for a few seconds, you should get a screen prompt asking if you want to reset the timer for the lamp.

Hi, i changed the lamp on my LG LCoS Projection TV Model 71SA1D. Everything was great for about an hour or so. The lamp warning indicator reappeared and the TV shutdown only to come back on within a minute...

it may be something with the new lamp or the projector overall. try to turn it off, disconnect the power cord, press the power button for about 10 seconds, remove the lamp and reconnect it making sure it is properly installed. then place the cover securely and try to test it again. you may also need to reset the lamp time for it, refer to the manual of your device for the instructions.

How do I install the samsung HLR4667WX/XAA lamp...are there instructions that come with that part or do i need a professional to install

The manual for the TV usually has the instructions. You can find many Samsung manuals on their website (samsung.com). The bulb replacement is easy enough to do it yourself. You need a Phillips screw driver and a lint free cloth to handle the new lamp. Turn off and unplug the TV. Wait ~30 minutes after turning off the TV before starting.

Usually you need to remove one Phillips screw to take off the lamp cover. Then loosen two additional screws and pull the lamp housing out by the handle. If your new lamp came with the housing, just swap. Otherwise (some OEM lamps), you need to remove 6 more screws to exchange the lamps (these have nuts that are only hand tight). Make sure not to mix up the old and new lamps and store the old one in a safe place until you can dispose of it.

Then reverse the steps. If the cover is not properly secured the TV will not come on.

I hope this helps.

The green light blink for a while and then shuts off and the lamp light blinks once red???

The green blinking lamp means that the TV is getting ready to start the lamp, and then one red LAMP blink means the lamp will not start. You may need a new lamp (Part TYLA1001.)

If a tech confirms this, and you can source the part, you can find TYLA1001 installation instructions here to save a few dollars, and PT-52LCX66 lamp timer reset steps here.

I hope that helps.
