RCA 61 my TV is getting a dark spot coming in from the top left corner. you can see thur it but it is getting bigger

I am afraid that the dark spot in the screen is not repairable. Manage as long as you can or go for a new tv.

I have the same TV - I have a dark spot in the upper left hand corner. I have always thought this TV was dark. Be sure to get OME lamp. Cheaper ones are not worth it and can damage your TV more.
dlplampsource,com--Just a note if this ever happens to you. TV would not come on in the AM-Had no picture, but had sound. It was not the lamp, but the safety switch. It's blue and at the bottom of the lamp housing. As soon as I flipped it and replaced the back cover, the TV came on.

Its an acrylic condensing lens inside the light engine that has melted/warped. You have to pullout the entire light engine then disassemble the optical light tunnel to get too the lens. Then you need a lens-smith to cut a new lens because Infocus won't stand behind this design flaw. Its really a shame on Infocus!

while having another problem fixed the tech told us about fixing the shadow in the corner problem. check the tubes. he said when they get hot the glue around the tube melts and causes the problem. he removed the access glue and ours is all better, i hope this works for you too.

No, don't wait. Make sure you get RCA to cover this under warranty. Don't wait for everyone with this model to have the same problem and jam up RCA with the customer service nightmare that is rampant in this industry.

first off are there any speakers close to the tv ?. if so move them secondly your degauss circuit may need servicing.
