The sound on my washer is no longer working. Typically, when I press the power button, it makes a series of tones when the washer is turned on and when it's turned off. It also used to make a tone when I would turn the dial or a series of tones when a cycle finishes. It no longer makes any sound. However, the lights on the various buttons and dials work fine. Any idea on what would have happened to the sound and/or how to fix the issue?

Unplugging for 60 seconds good. Then after you plug back in, literally slam the lid shut (then open) 7 times. This makes the washer reset. Sounds weird, but works.

Usually 2 buttons to press and hold.

Charge your headset
Charge the headset's battery fully before using the headset for the first time.
1 Put the headset in the supplied charging case and close the cover.
2 Plug the travel adapter into the case's charging socket.

Put your headset in pairing mode
1 Ensure that the headset is off (see Turn headset on/off below).
2 Press and hold the Multi-Function button until the indicator light turns on in blue (approximately 8 seconds).

Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and pair with headset
1 Set your Bluetooth phone to discover the headset by following your phone's guide.
Typically, the steps involve going to the Settings, Connection, or Bluetooth menu on your phone and then selecting the option to discover Bluetooth devices. Your phone will find the Samsung WEP200
headset.
2 Select Samsung WEP200.
3 When the phone asks if you want to pair with it, confirm by selecting Yes or OK.
4 Enter the headset passkey or PIN, 0000.

Your phone and headset are now paired and ready to make and receive calls.
1 Place the headset over your ear.
2 On your phone, make a call to the number you want.
3 If your phone and headset are successfully paired, you will hear ringing on the headset

After you have successfully paired your phone and headset, you do not need to repeat these initial setup steps each time you use the headset.

To turn the headset on
Press and hold the Multi-Function button for4 seconds until you see 4 blue flashes on the indicator light, then release.You will hear a tone and see the indicator light flashes while the power is on.
To turn the headset off
Press and hold the Multi-Function button for 4 seconds until you see 2 blue flashes on the
indicator light, then release.You will hear series of 2 tones and see the indicator light stops flashing.

Take the handset off the hook, then press the FWD/DND button followed by 0 (zero). When you hear the tone, hang the handset back up. This will work with the PT (Panasonic Proprietary telephone) system. (Alternatively, pick up the handset, press 7 (seven) 1 (one) 0 (zero) 0 (zero) and hang up after the tone. This works for PT and SLT phones (single line telephone))

The same sequence works to cancel call forwarding (except for follow me forwarding). In the Follow me mode, pick up the handset, press FWD/DND or 7 1 0 followed by 8 and the extension number. Then hang up after hearing the tone.

From the Handset Setup Menu:
1. Press the caller ID-volume ( 5 or 6) button to scroll to the TONE PULSE sub-menu.
2. Press mute/program button to enter the menu. TONE/PULSE 41TONE 2PULSE shows in the display. The default setting is “1 TONE”.
3. Use the touch-tone pad or caller ID-volume ( 5 or 6) to enter 1 TONE or 2 PULSE.
4. Press the mute/program button to confirm. You will hear a confirmation tone and your selection shows in the display.

You first need to determine if it is THAT phone or the jack it is plugged into. I would swap the phone with another in th ehouse and see if the problem stays with the phone or stays with the jack. If its the phone take it back or trash it. If the problem is the jack and if you have "lines keeper service" the phone company will repair the jack for you. If you do not have the inside wire insurance, ask the phone company how much it will cost to repair. You may want to get a private technician that will fix it for you for much less. Good Luck
