Took the oven door off and now cant get it back on

Typically one cannot fight the hinges while putting the door on.

USUALLY you can move a hinge down/open and there is a hole to put a nail through to hold each hinge down while you get the door in place.

I cleaned my oven and cant get the door back on

Pull the hinges out to the first stop, where you set the door when broiling, and just lower the door onto the hinge bars.

I need to remove oven door, cant figure out how

drop the door down as low as it will go look carefully at the hinges as they pass through into the oven chassis you will see a clip on each one that you lift up to lock the hinge you usually lift them up as far as they will go then this will lock the hinges as you close the door the hinges will come away from the oven complete with door.... reverse to refit.

Cant get the oven door back on

Use a wrench to lower the hinge arms down. There is a hole in the arm that you can put a nail into through to the frame of the oven/ This should leave the arm in an outward position. Do this on both sides of the oven, or both hinges
Pick up the door, and slide the door onto the arms until they stop.
Press down on the top end of the door lightly so that you may remove the nails inserted above.
Lift the door to close. If you didn't slide the door onto the hinge pieces far enough, then repeat the procedure.

Very Old Whirlpool "Wall of Fire" Gas OVen

what you have to do is get a couple of nails pull the hinge on the door down far enough to insert the nails in the holes and let it rest against the door this will hold the door at the proper angle to engage the hooks inside the hinge slots on the body of the range grasp the door on each side and insert the hinges in each side to engage the hooks then open the door all the way and remove the nails

Oven door not closing correctly

I had the same type of problem. I unhinged the door then disassembled the door (it's really quite easy)
after you take all the TORX screws out the everything comes apart! Don't worry about the screws putting them back is a snap! Now that you have the door apart take the door hinges out of the inner door plate.
If you look at then closely they will have a slight bend in them. Pay attention to how they would have been positioned on the door! Simply bend them slightly I used the edge of a step! My door now shuts completely! I hope this info helps many of you having the same problem! If you take the time it really is amazing how easy it is to solve the door issue! Thanks to my buddy RON.

Smeg se375mfx5 / stainless steel

i suspect you took the door off without locking the hinges
you will have to put the hinges in the lock position before putting back.
lay door on a blanket with hinges upwards. force the hinges back and bring the locking arm up to lock the hinges.
this requires considerable strength
