429 error active x

It looks like the solution is to download this file:http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8247

I found this information on this website:http://www.ehow.com/how_6018818_fix-active-error-429.html

The most recent version of this script is 5.7, not 5.6, but it should fix the problem. Also, make sure you have the most recent updates through Windows Update and Service Pack 3. Install the script first, however.

I have a problem the problem is error 429

The 429 error, "ActiveX can't create object" is a common Visual Basic runtime code error. Insert the phrase into a search engine and you'll see what I mean.

According to Microsoft, unlike some errors in Visual Basic, there is no one cause to an error 429. It happens because of an error in the application or system configuration, or a missing or damaged component.
There's some background on this at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/vbenlr98/html/vamsgCantCreateObject.asp

If your error was within Office, reinstall Office as it has probably lost a file somewhere and make sure your Active X is up to date. Running a goog defrag programme may also help.
Hope this fixes your problem.

Trying to load a new lottery program. All I get is active x runtime problem 429

I'll two solutions.
First

Update your DirectX.
  1. Download DirectX 9.0c.
  2. Click the Run or Open button to start the installation.
  3. Click the I accept the agreement radio button.
  4. Click the Next button twice.
  5. Click the Finish button to restart your machine and complete the installation.
Second

The Microsoft® Scripting Runtime must be installed from the Microsoft® Windows Script components. The Microsoft® Windows Script components are installed by a self-extracting EXE. Please download and install the Microsoft® Windows Script Installer at the following Microsoft® Web site:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp

This link may also bring you directly to the download:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C717D943-7E4B-4622-86EB-95A22B832CAA&displaylang=en

Hope any of these two methods worked for you. All the best.

Libin

It sounds like your product is not compatible to Vista....you may need to email the creators of this product and ask them for the update if they have made one YET.

Fuji Camera software

A current version of DirectX should install that file. Check for your version of DirectX by clicking on Start-Run, type dxdiag.exe, then click on OK. When the DirectX diagnostic page loads, you should be able to see the DirectX version you have installed. If you are not currently at DirectX 8.1 or higher, and because you have Windows 98 and an unknown video card, please download DX 8.1 from the link below: DirectX 8.1 Runtime for Windows 98 and Windows Me There is a newer version but there are no guarantees that your current video card will support it. It's supported in Windows 98, but older cards sometimes have issues. Here's that link: DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime Hope this helps.
