I have gprs settings on my mobile. I wanted to connect my nokia 5130 to laptop which having windows 7 ultimate to open internet connection in laptop. But after making dial up connection, it is showing error 'subscribe to packet data first' in my mobile. How i can give connection? Please help me.

GPRS Settings for mobile phone

To get Internet settings SMS "INTERNET" to 52270 (toll free on TATA DOCOMO HOME & CHARGED Rs.3 at non DOCOMO Network) and save them as default settings.

Manually configuring Docomo GPRS settings

Take TATA DOCOMO INTERNET' WAP profile in Settings:

In wap 2.0 phones[Nokia,Sony Ericson,samsung,L.g, Motorola etc] enter these additional gprs settings.

If you do not have a Nokia and Sony Ericsson phone, you'll need to set your phone manually with these details.

Browsing the Internet

TATA DOCOMO INTERNET works with any PC or Laptop that has Bluetooth or USB port for the cable.So after getting the settings save them and start browsing on your phone for free.But if you want to connect your computer to tata docomo internet gprs,you willl have to follow the given procedures.

Connect your phone to computer either via Bluetooth or data cable

Bluetooth

• Install the PC suite software.
• Pair mobile handset with your PC or Laptop via the Bluetooth program
• Click on "Connect to the Internet" icon from the PC Suite programs.

Cable:

• Install the PC suite software.
• Connect mobile handset with your PC or Laptop via the USB cable.
• Click on "Connect to the Internet" icon from the PC Suite Program.

or for manual PC configuration,create a new connection using the "Make a new connection" wizard on your PC / laptop.Once a dialer is configured, leave the username and password blank. Enter the access number *99# .You are now ready to start browsing using the tata docomo free unlimited gprs plan.

Connection/Download Speed of Tata Docomo GPRS

I've heard both positive and negative remarks about the download speed of tata docomo internet connection.According to some tests given on their twitter profile,it's said that an user gets a speed of 76kbit/sec.Anyways,lets check for more user reviews from other states as well.

there is an internet connection in nokia 5130.but it may be disabled.contact your customer care service and ask him to activate the GPRS settings. they will send you a internet settings of your mobile.kindly use that service to activate the GPRS and activate the internet connection in your mobile...

In order to connect internet to a PC through your mobile you will have to subscribe for 3G/GPRS/EDGE from your SIM provider. If you have the service subscribed at present, install Nokia PC Suit in your PC and connect the handset with USB cable or Bluetooth and In PC Suit there is an option "Connect To Internet" Click on it and with your ISP provided configuration [User ID : Password], (if any) you can access the internet after connected successfully.

NO. It is meant to be used. You are not doing anything that it is not meant to do. But, remember that if you use the BT connection then the phone may get hot and use up more battery. In the long run it may be harmful as the battery will wearout that much faster and the heat has always caused damage everywhere. So use the cable connection as long as you can. Bt is fine but the phone had to work double, by working the BT to work the GPRS. In case of cable it just has to concentrate on the GPRS.

yes. just connect your phone to your PC and open network connections... from there, you can choose to open internet using the network provider by your phone's GPRS

A. Do you have GPRS activated on your mobile. B. Configure GPRS setting on the phone. C. To be sure the network is working, fire the WAP browser and access some site, eg, www.google.com. If satisfied proceed:-1. Install Nokia PCSuite to yourPC. 2. connect the phone to the USB cable which is attached to the PC. 3. From PCSuite connect to the internet. 4. if you have properly configured you GPRS download and install nokia pc suite from nokia.com..manage and configure connections..open nokia pc suite then click connect to internet..

its actually simple. just enable gprs on ur mobile by requesting to your service provider via customer care or dealers. Then download latest nokia pc suit.if i'm nt worong it must be version 7. sumthing.install it in ur PC then take connect to internet n then select settings in this connect to internet window. there u'll have select ur service provide from the lsiting.then click finish n then click on the connect to internet icon which is on the same window.nw the internet should be working fine..thank you.
