AC was weak so had it recharged. Everything was fine for the rest of the day. Next morning I started the car, turned on the AC, was putting junior into his carseat when the AC quit. I turned it off then back on several times and the fans would come on then go off. Then nothing. And I mean nothing, no lights on the control panel, no fans, nothing on heat or air. I tried for a week, checking connections, testing fuses, nothing. Then I drove it out to my sons house, about 30 miles. On the way back I set the fan control switch to low. Nothing was working but I just set it anyway. About 20 miles into the drive, it came on. Was a cold evening, it came on economy and hot so I turned the temperature control down and set it to auto, but didn't touch the econ switch. Didn't try the AC system, didn't think of it. As soon as I killed the engine I began to wonder if the AC might be working so I started the car back up. Nothing. No heat, no AC, no lights everything was dead again. I haven't been able to get it to come on again. I've checked fuses, relays anything I can find but nothing. Any Ideas, I'm at a complete loss. Appreciate your insights. Rick

Temperature won't change from ac to heat in 2015 Chevy equinox

There are two ports in the air conditioning system of Equinox. One is labelled H for high-pressure and the other one is labelled L for low-pressure. You can recharge your AC through the low-pressure port with a do it yourself AC recharge kit.Shake the canister briefly and release the refrigerant into the system until the recommended pressure has been achieved. Note: See next section for recommended pressure values

We just got our A/C system (2000 Chrysler 300) recharged with Freon and at that time it was discovered the A/C belt was gone, so that was replaced. Everything seemed fine on the short drive home - AC...

Not real likely, but it was HOT outside, correct? has it overheated since? It is likely the thermostat was weak or bad, but this is a June post. Do you need further help?

Ignition locks up!

Try spraying a little lubricant in there, if you haven't tried already, like silicone spray. Make sure you push hard into park & press brake pedal harder as well, and wiggle steering wheel hard.

Engine turns over fine , car will not start.

well the first part of your question i was all ready to tell you to put a new fuel pump in, now not so sure, there is a relay for fuel pump, can you hear pump cycle and relay click? relay under hood you will have to listen close they don't run long maybe a couple secounds, if you don't relay bad. if you do pump could be bad, do fuel pressure test pump could be weak. don't think sunroof and turn signals are related, but stranger things have happend.
