So I understand the issue. Does the wash cycle start up? By that I mean if you release the washer top from the base do the tumblers turn once the water fill cycle is complete?
If you don't have the FAV6800A/FAV9800A Service Manual (you can't get it on line anymore) see this post Clutch Fix I describe how to release the washer top from the base to observe the wash basket. Don't raise during the water fill cycle wait till that completes.
Does the key pad beep as you press the other cycle select key pads?

My washer want even fill up with water the washer never starts any cycle. It does beep when I chose my options and the lid locks then after a minute the lid unlocks and then all the lights go off but the start light. This washer is faulty by far and it was such a great pattern for washing with the dule agitators it use to clean so good. Now it want start so it sure dont clean.. Please help a mom of 4 boys to wash clothes.. Thanks love
