On my Sony Bravia there's a 6" band across the bottom of the display that doesn't refresh. It's transparent and I can still see the picture. However there seems to be a latent image for a few seconds.

/ Time slide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left
of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model
number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.
It's probably a station channel, channels broadcast different picture and sound quality, therefore when changing channels this can be noticable. It is probably not a tv problem.
