There is no physical switch on the Elitebook 2530p, and I can't figure out how to turn the wireless back on...

What version of Windows are you using? You can open an on-screen keyboard and use the mouse to type in the password.

The HP2530p buttons are "touch sensitive" and are located at the top of the keyboard just above the F4 & F5 Keys along the strip where the power switch is. Just touch the orange light and it will change to blue (on) this is the same for the volume screen etc, blue is on, orange is off, Just touch and play

Just a quick one or two at the moment. Have to locate the problem then figure the fix sooooo..

What I suggest you do is hold the bottom right corner firmly, keeping it relatively immovable while, at the same time, GENTLY, and NOT completely, SLOWLY start bringing the top left corner down toward the bottom right corner, actually moving the top barely an eighth of an inch, flexing just a tiny bit...

If the display flickers then, hopefully, it is a loose display cable, usually a flat one that lies under the keyboard and need only be adjusted. a tedious but very inexpensive solution.

Another quick, albeit unlikely fault to check is your battery. I know, I know, it's so obvious but I have to ask: Have you tried using the computer from a DIFFERENT wall outlet, better still, at a buds house?

There is wifi switch on laptop first turned it on. Make sure wireless network adapter driver installed and enable you can check it in device manager. Press Fn+ F5 key turn the wifi on. Then you can view available wifi networks. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

are you switching off, or just closing the lid? On most laptops, closing the lid just hibernates and constantly uses power, it can be changed in the control panel power options.

I am afraid that a single Key on the Keyboard cannot be replaced for any Notebook.

The Notebook keyboards are very compact, so you might need to have a new keyboard for it.

Please contact the manufacturer to send it to store for replacement.
