I have webroot antivirus and antispyware. I renewed my subscription in May of 2010 and have had no problems until recently. It is not downloading on my computer. The icon is on my desktop but will not open. What could be the problem?

I recently paid for an update, now Webroot will not delete files without a Registration Code. How do I get one? If you know about this over-site why
have you not fixed it????

My subscription is already expired. In renewing my subscription in Norton Antivirus 2010, do I really need to buy it? I mean, there is no free renewal in this subscription?

No. Each year a new version appears and you must buy it for another year. Or you could get a better antivirus that is free for home use

I am getting error messages for the past few weeks from webroot firewall saying it must close. I have agreed to send the problem but no fixes. I renewed my webroot in February. Today I got a message...

Never used webroot so I'll take a guess way out in left field and say that you are using two antivirus's and they are conflicting. If so I would use only one and you would have better functionality. If that isn't the problem, get us corrected and we'll get you on the right track.

My Webroot Icon is not showing on my Computer. I did just renew the spy sweeper.

Try checking it in Program files.

Also Click start programs and see if you can find the folder named Webroot.

Once done, you can right the icon, and select send to desktop which will create a Shortcut icon for Webroot.

Hope this helps

My webroot has greyed out and it keeps telling me that the virus protection is turned off but everytime i try to turn it back on nothing happens..

Is your subscription expired?
I would recommend uninstalling webroot and installing Avast
http://www.avast.com/index
They have a brand new virus protection scheme called sandboxing and its quite advanced. Plus its free! Better than norton or webroot by farrrrrrrrrrr.

Auto re-newal keeps stating it is expired.

There is a distinction between the program and the subscription for updates. Updates usually get purchased for a year at a time. YOU want the updates, so renew.

I try to run the scan but it keeps on saying that my scan is disabled how can i fix it because my computer is vulnerable thats what pops up i never had issues with webroot but this is frustrating

It looks like your licence has run out and they're asking you to renew.

If this is the case, go to Filehippo.com download and install AVG free, also Microsoft security essentials. Both are free and will cover you.

Then uninstall the webroot stuff.

Do we need both Trend Micro Antivirus and Webroot Spy Sweeper?

i have found out the norton is the best to use. is your c drive getting full? if so you need to get a drive erase pro program and erase some of the things that you have on your hard drive . that is the only way to get it off your drive and have more free space
