Hi mate, i get a problem with my LG viewty. Yesterday, my "viewty" can't responsible about the touch screen, so i can't open menu. But, the one i can do just using the call button, reject button, and activating camera,video and viewer mode.

I have the same problem. i opened up my phone and saw a tiny chip thing right behind the screen fried. im thinking it happened because moisture got into the phone. moisture gets into your phone when you take a shower and leave your phone on the sink or something.

I have the same problem with my ku990. first question is do you keep it in your front pocket. only because I think it causes the phone to flex and if you kind of twist the phone a little and touch the touch screen it helps. I got that off the internet as well I have had this phone jan.2008 and it happened about 2 weeks after i purchased it and was unable to return the phone. I should of bought the nokia. if you found out the problem to your phone let me know hot to fix it.

I'm absolutely in the same boat. I heard the front pocket thing but I don't think thats it. My phone has progressively gotten worse. Sometimes it will only open the menu and other times it won't respond at all. But then all of the sudden its perfect again. Until I actually need it for something. I'm starting to think buttons might be a good idea...

my lg viewty is fuking shite....hav had to over a year....and basically on one side of the screen works....so i cant type the numbers 1, 4, 7 etc cant DELETE MESSAGES....therefore my inbox is full! now i cant recieve ne msgs!
i went to t-mobile....he just smiled n was like....theres nothing we can do....its over 12 months...
i cant believe it....im on an 18 month contract with them,...and i still hav 6 months left....i cant even ring t-mobile from my bloooooming fone and hav to do it from a landline!

YES... I just bought mine 2 weeks ago. (second hand) It was working perfect then iv just decided to replace all the casing to a silver one. it took me 3 and half hours to replace then when i turn it back on all seems good but i cant touch my screen the call reject and cancel buttons work at the bootom of phone but i cant touch anywhere on screen. its pissed me off loads any one got ideas Thanks
