The computer cannot find the operating system, the disk error message means it cannot find the hard disk, you most likely have a faulty hard disk or less likely a faulty disk controller.
You can test the hard disk by removing it and connecting it to a USB hard drive adapter and plug it into a working computer's USB port. If this computer cannot detect this drive as an external drive then you will know your hard drive is faulty ad you need to buy a new one and install Windows and programs etc..

Try reinstalling the OS with your restore disks. It might be that you have HDD failure in which case you would need to replace the HDD.

sounds like maybe a hard disk problem but there is a couple of things to try go in the bios and see if it recnioze it and if it dont have u recently removed the drive sometime a loose connection will cause this.but if u have not removed the drive u should still check it to make sure it has a good connection.

This means you HDD is either corrupt or faulty, try downloading a copy of Hirens BCD to try to access the HDD (or use and external HDD enclosure) and if you can, put it back in the laptop, if not reformat it and reinstall windows.
