The color is all red.

I want you to do a simple visual check of something that will tell me what the problem may be.

Go to a channel that is in black and white--old movie and tell me what color the screen/picture is.

You can also turn the COLOR in the customer menu all the way off and look that way.

What we are trying to see here is if TRACKING is set correctly or has changed. If the screen is somewhat to medium reddish it may be an adjustment outside of the customer menu.

Let me know what you find--I have seen several of these where the black and white picture was somewhat red--the idea is it should be as close to black and white as possible--if red is the predominant background color the picture will look reddish.

If this has helped and you confirm the red instead of black and white picture--I can tell you a easy way to adjust this.

If this information told you something you did not know and helps you rate this solution as I do this here for free.

The colour on my TV is a reddish colour. Have tried the colour adjustment. Skin colours in particular.

simple. easy. you have 3 screen adjustments. red green blue. turn color all the way down. you should then get just a black and white picture, but in your case, it will still be reddish. behind the speaker grill is an access panel for screen adjustment. remove speaker grill. remove access panel. you will see a block assembly roughly 6 inches square with 6 knobs on it. 3 are for screen, 3 are for focus. adjust until you have a black and white picture. then go into menu and turn your color back up. enjoy!

We moved our set and now the picture is dark and reddish green. I can't adjust the color in anyway. factory default does nothing either.

Since you moved it, I Would Make sure that the t.v. is not near anything magnetic or any speakers! This can disrupt the colors of the t.v.. It is also possible that the mechanism that creates the 3 colors inside the t.v. was damaged by moving the t.v. This would probably be best repaired by a t.v. repair shop. But make sure you go to a reputable one or they will rip you off! Good Luck!! I hope you get this problem sorted out easily!!

Blurry screen KP61hs10

Yes, Convergence settings should be tried first before any color adjustment or any fluid changes are done. Remember that there are 3 colors to notice. Red, Green, Blue. The Green is the only one that you can not move with an adjustment The Red and Blue is ligned up on green. Some cases it does matter how linear the Green color is across the board, just how close you get the blue and red on top of green is what matters.
