Labels print out of position

Having a problem with one of our label printers, a Zebra S600.
When printing multiple labels, the position of the printing gradually steps closer to the lead edge until it is actually printing off of the label.
It seems like it is set up for the wrong size label, but I have checked this and the settings are correct.

That's the same problem we have now. It didn't occur during the first two or three years of use of our Zebra S600, but now it´s getting really annoying. I know there is this "print mode". In one print mode the printer calibrates itself, consuming a lot of labels in doing so, and printing flawless, says our local Zebra support. In the other print mode, that is "continuous", the label ribbon is positioned manually, and printing is controlled exclusively by the software used for formatting label's content (this mode doesn't work well, says our local support). Problem is: why did it work before, and now it will not?

Hi there, I am printing on Zebra S600 using Seagull Scientific Driver, The printer only prints every alternate label that is prints one label and prints a blank. Thank you for your help

Skipping labels is usually a printer driver issue. You should use Seagull Scientific printer driver only if you are using the corresponding Seagull Scientific label design software. It is important to have the printer driver and label design software be from the same manufacturer.

Zebra S600 printer

  1. Try just storing your labels in a cool dry place before using them. Peeling labels are usually a sign the glue is poor or weak.
  2. When tearing you labels off, feed them out before tearing them off, then hit the auto-align. See if that helps it.
  3. Try pushing a normal playing card under the metal cutter that tears the labels and pull it up and through the front to bend the blade slightly outward. This will hopefully allow the labels to pass underneath.
