Which Carrier? You can try this if its t-mobile, otherwise find the carrier specific settings and replace the t-mobile with the carrier settings.

Data Profile Setup:

  1. From the main menu select My Data > WAP > WAP Profile
  2. Scroll to an empty profile and select Edit
    • Set Profile Name to T-Zones GPRS
    • Set Homepage to wap.t-zones.com
    • Leave User ID and Password blank
    • Set IP Address to 216.155.165.050
    • Set Port to 8080
    • Set Show images to ON
  3. Press Save
  4. Select Activate

MMS Setup:
  1. From the main menu select Messaging > MMS > Settings > WAP Profile
  2. Scroll to T-Zones GPRS and select Activate
  3. Press Back
  4. Select MMS Server
  5. Scroll to an empty profile and select Edit
  6. Press Save
  7. Select Activate
  8. Power cycle phone and test

I CANT SEND PICTURE MESSAGES WHY?

Hi,

You need MMS and GPRS setting to send picture messages.

To make your
MMS and GPRS working you should first need the settings for it.You cannot set it.Your network provider should give the default gateway address for it.Then only you can use it.
If you already have set the
MMS and GPRS setting and now if it is not working because the network service provider would have changed the gateway Ip address. You have to again set the new one.

Please call your network service provider and ask him to send the
MMS and GPRS settings for your mobile.He/she will ask for the mobile model and send you the appropriate MMS and GPRS setting. You will get the settings as an SMS.go to iIbox and save the setting...

Now you can work with it.Your phone has no issues with
MMS and GPRS .Only network service provider has to give the correct settings.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

Pictures wont send or recieve

Do you have internet connection on your mobile ? If no , then here is what to do : you need to activate gprs packet data connection for your LG . To activate gprs , you need to call costumer care center of your operator for help . Maybe you are wondering now , what does that has to do with sending pictures . If gprs is not activated and your phone is not set correctly , then will not be able to send pictures over your phone .
good luck

Gprs not subscribed? "skiphone" from china. i can't send or receive pictures or anything.

are you paying for a data type GPRS plan? Perhaps the skiphone's GPRS hardware is incompatible with the Gprs service in your country.

http://www.yugatech.com/ringtones/tips-tricks/activating-your-smart-mms-gprs/

Here’s a quick tip on how to activate your phone’s Smart MMS and Smart GPRS settings if you’re with the Smart network:
Download MMS and GPRS settings from Smart:
To download SMART MMS phone settings:
Key in SET MMS and send to 211.
To download SMART GPRS phone settings:
Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.
Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that’s “SET MMS N6230
To activate SMART GPRS:
Key in “GPRS ON” and send to “333′
To activate SMART MMS:
Key in “MMS ON” and send to “333′
Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select “Save All” to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.
Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated
