SOURCE: LG WD-8016C Front Load Washer leaks from the bottom

Crawls, usually all leaks are visible. Im surprised the repairman did not actually get to the source of it. Your drain pump sits on the bottom and it possibly could be the filter cap, hoses to the pump or pump itself. Another area to check is the despensor. There are a number of hoses to this which could be leaking. The bellow itself could have a cut in it somewhere along the bottom. I would call the repairman back and have him at least get to the source of the leak...Catriver..post back.

SOURCE: LG front load machine with LE code and no spin

LE is a locked motor error. Not to worry as 95% of the time this is just a bad hall sensor (motor position sensor). It is very easy for a technician to replace and the cost is very small.

Hope this helps, please rate my solution.

SOURCE: LG WM2688HM front loader is leaking water around the door seal

this may be coming from the soap dispenser and running down round the door way and to the bottom- investigate that first. otherwise the seal may be worn/ damaged and needs replacing.

SOURCE: lg front load washer leaking from bottom of machine

I just fixed this problem - there is a rubber hose that hooks the bottom of the drum to the drain and recycle pumps - it is ribbed and it developed a hole. To confirm and repair (repair can be done from the front of the machine)

  1. Unplug the machine.
  2. Drain whatever water you can from the machine using the stoppered hose behind the bottom left panel
  3. Unscrew the visible screw holding the plastic in place near the drain hose and filter
  4. If you can pull the plastic recessed piece out, there is one screw visible behind it - unswcrew this. If you cannot pull it out now, you should be able to get it after you remove the screws in step 10
  5. Pull out the detergent drawer (push in the middle back "botton" to release the drawer to pull out fully)
  6. Unscrew two screws in the drawer area.
  7. Pull the top of the electronics assembly away from the machine and lift the assembly out (place on top of the machine or hook it out of the way)
  8. Open the door and remove the spring loaded wire around the door seal (be careful as the seal can be torn)
  9. Pull the seal away from the metal front panel, then close the door
  10. Remove four screws at the top of the front panel (that were behind the eletronics assembly) - If you already have removed the screw from step 4, proceed, otherwise lean the top of front panel out and pop the plastic out, hold panel in place and remove that bottom screw from step 4.
  11. Lift front panel about two inches, swing the entire front panel to the right and set against something - You should now be able to see inside the machine.
  12. There is a black hose right in the middle - when I squeezed mine a little, I could see where the water was dripping out from the bottom.
  13. There are three clamps - two that can be squeezed with pliers and removed, one that has to be unscrewed (phillips head screw - it is a bit blind as the screw faces the back of the machine) - Once I got mine off - I could see the hole.
  14. Order replacement and reassmble in the opposite order

Have a LG Tromm wm2688hnm and it washes fine and the drum is empty of water after a cycle. When I come back to wash another load a day or two later there is water that has pooled in the drum. I have had...

Sounds like you have a minor blockage in your filter. There should be a access panel to the filter. If you have your manual it should be located in there as to where exactly the access point is. The timing seems to be just about right for a blockage. The only other thing that is possible is that a seal has busted and is letting water drip down from the water hoses in the back. If you look at the filter and there isn't a blockage then try and shut of the water from the back when you are done doing a load. When you come back and no water you now know your starting to issolate the issue. Please let me know what you find. Hope it helps out.

Display says error

I have give the same solution in other post, here it is :
usually problem with semi auto washing machine is on the sensors , exactly in the water level sensor, please check the hose that connected to water level sensor, make sure no dirt blocking or clogging the hose. also you can clean the tube under the pulsator, usually there is many dirt blocking the hose line.
the problem is in the hose leading to the water level sensor, if there is no dirt and looks normal, water level sensor must be replaced

My frigidaire stopped working

The bearings are bad. My sears kenmore did the same thing. Do you have hard water, that would be one cause. Or maybe it's still under warrenty because it is not a cheap fix.

Hello. My frontload LG Washer started leaking

I have the same problem I think. During the wash cycle, water sometimes starts spraying/leaking from the detergent dispenser drawer. This orignally only happened during a 'NORMAL' wash and when I ran a 'SPEED WASH' it was ok. Now all of a sudden it's doing it during the 'SPEED WASH' also. I though it might be the water pressure so I turned down the flow going to the washer but that doesn't seem to help. If I knew how the detergent system worked maybe it would be easier to solve this problem.

Have a LG Tromm wm2688hnm and is leaking water? Does anyone know what causes this and how do you fix it?

If leaking from the bottom it could be a number of things and you would have to remove the back panel to start. Then do the rinse and spin and using a flashlight try to locate the leak. Have towels handy. For us, in our 5 yr old LG - the bellow (the black large tube connected to underneath the tub) had holes in it. A $10.00 part online.
