Edirol ua25 jack speaker output

The problem I'm having is that the sound from the jack outputs on the back are extremely low volume.
The problem is not the speakers as they both work at a louder and more acceptable volume through the jack headphones output and on other systems. Alternatively, I've tried experimenting with the settings on the hardware and also on system preferences.
I'm a mac user, using logic 7 and have had no other troubles with this hardware for over a year. PLEASE HELP!!!
Alex

Your are using powered speakers right? Or going into an amp and then the speakers, as the UA-25 does not have enough power to drive passive speakers.
Call Roland customer service and have them walk you through the device setup to make sure you've got everything right.

Possibly, your adapter of small to big is not a stereo adapter. Seems like a mono adapter.

Edirol not able to record on Cubase essentials

This interface works fine with other hosts but with cubase is more tricky. But you can fix it.

You need to disable the onboard sound card, also use the UA25 Asio drivers, go to programs/Steinberg cubase/ ASIO multimedia setup and you should see the UA25 outports are active and that the sync ref "YES" also that the UA25 Input ports are active. the next bit is a bit of fun select the Advanced options and select Detect buffer size, when thats finished select Check Buffers and Sync, press the start button and the test will run,if everything is ok you should have zero "Sync lost" and zero "Buffer lost"
Depending on how lower you want to get your latency , you may have to tweek the UA25 driver settings and re-run the setup above.

KV9PT40 sound

You'd need amplified speakers, like used for ipods and such, as the output on the headphone jack is a lower volume.
