Does it give any message ? How do you know its not found ? My be ur OS u installed was corrupt.
i dont know what OS you have still any of em below could work..
1: Unplug all cables for 22 - 40 second atleast and then plug it again,and reboot your PC
3: see the BIOS setting if your Hard Drive is not defected and working fine.
2: or If you have the recovery disk insert it and boot from cd to see the contents of harddrive or if possible reinstall your OS
