How old is your treadmill? Has the deck been lubricated? Do you smell anything odd when the belt stops? Unplug treadmill, remove motor cover and check cables are all connected.

Horizon T101 stops suddenly display shows BELT,

Hi,

Please check under your belt to see if there are any debris. Also, attempt to run your machine's belt without standing on it and see if the message comes on again. For more details, please check the troubleshooting section of your manual in order to determine if the machine needs servicing or maybe just some oil.

Thank you.

Horizon Fitness Treadmill new motor starts but cuts out in less than 5 seconds

Sounds like a faulty motor starter if equipped or motor it self faulty.

The T202 belt is not in the center

At the end of of the running belts2_bing.gif in the end caps will adjusting bolts you will need a allen wrench to adjust the tension. Start your treadmill2_bing.gif and turn clockwise a 1/4 turn each time see i f you can stop the belt. You need to be aware that the drive belt can also cause this problem so I suggest that you remove the motor shroud and when you are adjusting whether the front roller is moving and the running belt has stopped or the roller has stopped and motor is rotating ( adjust Drive Belt)

After lubing the belt on my Horizon T101 it started tripping the breaker after 5-15 minutes of use. It never did this before I lubed it. Any suggestions?

Step 1:

1) the old board deck belt is time to replace it
2) However you must test a) the main motor see my personal TIPS for motor help b) test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor if there are NOT the board is faulty. see the diagrams attached.
God bless you

Screen states Lube Belt , do not have user Manual , Where are lubrication points and what type "lube" can I use ?

hi,

It is necessary to lubricate your treadmill running deck every six months or 150 miles to maintain optimal performance. Once the treadmill reaches 150 miles, the console will display the message "LUBE" or "LUBE BELT". The treadmill will not operate while the message is showing. Hold Stop for 5 seconds to suspend message for 5 miles. Your treadmill came with a bottle of lubricant which can be used for two applications. If you need lubricant, contact Horizon Fitness. Only use lubricant provided by Horizon Fitness.

• Turn off the treadmill with the on/off switch, then unplug the power

cord at the wall outlet.

• Loosen both the rear roller bolts. (For best results, place two removable

marks on both sides of the frame and note roller position). Once the

belt is loosened, take the bottle of lubricant and apply it to the entire

top surface of the running deck. Tighten both rear roller bolts

(matching up the marks for proper position) to original position. After

you have applied lubricant, plug in the power cord, insert the safety

key, start the treadmill and walk on the belt for two minutes to spread

the lubricant.

• Lubricate the air shocks with Teflon based spray.
• Once lubrication is complete, reset the console by pressing and holding 'STOP' and Speed '+' buttons for 5 seconds.

The running belt motor does not work, everthing else works fine the belt will just not turn- no noise or anything

You need to pull the motor hood off to see if the belt is still on the motor. If it is and the motor is not turning, check the controler ( located on the otherside of treadmill) and you should see a red light on. When you tell the treadill to go.... the red light should start to flash, if it does then you need a new motor. If it just stays lit, you have lost communication from the console ( the upper controls ), and need to find out if something came dissconnected.

Hope this helps
