Need a "Starfinder" control box for a Meade #4504 telescope (10 yrs old). Tried E-bay, Craigslist, etc.

Very doubtful you will find this part. Meade does not support this telescope anymore. It may be possible to find a used one on Astromart.com by placing a WANT AD-- it will cost you $12 to register and place the ad.

Search really good over the internet through search engines suchas google or ask. Search your telescope'sproduct type and number in and you should get what youare looking for. One of those websites has to have an instructionmanual.

I have a MEADE STARFINDER controler which my dog- (George) chewed the connecttion end off of. Can I get it fixed-or might MEADE Co replace it....? Thank you, Bob Z.
You can buy a new one-- is it just the cable or the actual hand controller?

This hand controller is no longer made and cannot be replaced (new). You might be able to buy one USED on AstroMart at this web site:

Looking for a motor for my Starfinder on my Meade 114EQ-DH4
Only Meade will have replacement gears -- they are the only ones who sell these parts. Usually they want you to return the telescope for repair. Call them here:
