It's possible to purchase a replacement remote control for your CZ230ER model from a variety of sources, including online retailers and electronics stores. Some options for finding a replacement remote include:
Checking online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Best Buy. These websites often have a wide selection of remote controls available for purchase, including ones that are compatible with the CZ230ER model.
Contacting the manufacturer of your CZ230ER model. Even if the company does not have any replacement remotes available for sale, they may be able to direct you to a third-party vendor that does.
Checking with local electronics stores. Many stores that sell electronic devices, such as Best Buy or Fry's Electronics, carry a variety of replacement remote controls and may have one that is compatible with your CZ230ER model.
Searching online classified websites such as Craigslist or Kijiji. While it may be more difficult to find a specific model on these websites, you may be able to find a used remote control that is compatible with your CZ230ER model.
It's also worth noting that it's possible to purchase a universal remote control that is compatible with a wide range of devices, including your CZ230ER model. Universal remotes are available from a variety of sources, including online retailers and electronics stores.
1st you must figure out is the problem with the TV infrared receiver or is it with the remotes infrared transmitter, to do this buy a cheap universal remote from any retail store like Walmart and program it to your TV, if it fails to operate the TV the TV is the problem. If the TV is ok and you want to buy the OEM remote try eBay.
Try the link below but if they do not have the original (they nomrally do), do not buy a 'universal' remote without getting model numbers and going to the maker's website to check the code list for that remote and your devices since there is no truly universal remote.
Remotes
Hi , I just wanted to let the folks that have a emerson Lc195emx TV know that i have found no other universal remote that will work on this TV except very ironically Walmart's 5$ cheapest universal remote they have made by a company called ONN I tried LOTS expensive( LOL had to get refunds) & even my Comcast word not work , but this 5$ ONN from Walmart work like a charm there is TONS of codes for Emerson on the list , LOL i got lazy after tryin about ten and just used the auto search and in about 5 seconds it found my code and ohh my goodness i am so happy i just had to share :)
getting universal remote is not a problem
click here - here is a google search for universal remotes you can buy.
if you want to buy one locally any electronic store or walmart type store will have them. Just make sure it suits your needs for the tv. Alternatively if you give me the model number i will be happy to look up a replacement remote for the tv. Hope this helps. If you need further assistance please let me know and i can go from there.
Your best bet is to buy a universal remote that would work with your model television or a replacement remote from your manufacturer.
This one is pretty cheap (and may be your exact remote?) http://www.replacementremotes.com/store/productdetailp.cfm?productid=28946
You could probably buy a universal remote cheaper at walmart or target, but the cost savings will cost you the time and hassle to program the remote (and if you buy a universal, you must make sure it works with emerson TVs).
the remote for your durabrand combo unit is part number NE207UD and can be found online through many retailers, as far as i know there are no universal remotes that support the durabrand codes, if they do it will be under a different manufacturers name.
Your TV is made by Daewoo and is distributed by Daytek. If you call the 800 number on the warranty card you will reach Daytek.
So, what you need to know is this:
#1. A lot of new products won't have a website available. That does not
say anything to their quality or the company, just that you've bought a
new product and you're one of the first purchasers.
#2. A lot of times if you buy a "no name" TV, you're actually getting
components inside the TV that are made by brand name manufacturers. For
example, "Prima" uses LG panels in some of their plasma TVs (as well as
Daytek). How do I know this? Because I'm the authorized service
provider for Daytek, and Prima and quite a few other "no name" TVs, and
I've been working on LCD and Plasma since they came out, as well as
having worked in the electronics repair industry for over 20 years. I
own an Insignia 42" LCD and am quite happy with it.
#3. Most new products that have remote controls will not have codes
available for them no matter what brand of universal remote you buy.
You have to wait for the people who make the universal remote to have
time to make a code for this new brand of TV. This can take up to a
year for cable companies, and cheaper universal remotes may never get
the code. Expensive universal remotes may be able to have their
firmware updated through the internet, so adoption of new codes for new
products may happen faster.
#4. Stores like Walmart and Costco are excellent places to buy products
like this because they usually have a "no questions asked" return
policy if you get the TV back to the store within the stores time limit
for returns (some stores are 15 days, some are 30 days, phone the store
and ask them). I had purchased a 40" Digistar LCD TV from Walmart what
had a flickering problem, I took it back the next day without any
problem at all. Then I bought a 42" Insignia Plasma TV from Future Shop
that I wasn't happy with. I took it back 3 days later and had no
problem at all. As long as you know the stores policy for returns and
follow the policy, you won't have any problems either.
#5. Try to avoid buying big-ticket items from smaller stores unless you
know their return policies. Some smaller stores will not accept returns
on LCD monitors, TVs or plasma TVs but instead require you to
handle any problems through the manufacturer.
#6. Best bet it to call Daytek and ask them if they know of any universal remotes that work on that particular model.
