All front loading washers will fill and drain multiple times before it finishes. Unlike a top loader, a front loading washer will take longer to run because there is no agitator and will fill with water and drain multiple times. A front loader is more energy efficient than a Traditional top loading washing machine. A washer dryer combo will take hours to complete a cycle.
If you cleared the drain pump trap of obstructions, and the pump still runs fine(without rattling from a loose or damaged impeller) then most likely you have fixed the problem. The washer will not spin if it can't drain--and if the water is draining too slowly, it will time out and give an error code for "slow drain". For any items such as bras, underwear, socks, baby socks, stockings, pantyhose, etc, use a netted clothing bag with a zipper to prevent those types of things from getting pulled in-between the basket and tub and then making it to the drain pump trap. These things are notorious for clogging pumps on front load and top load HE washers!!
you have something gotten into your pump ,,, it trys to drain and spin but overloads the motor and shuts down till the motor switch resets .... remove the pump and take out whatever gotten in it and if that not possable replace the pump.
It sound like you drain hose is siphoning off the rinse water, It needs a standpipe make sure the drain hose is at about the height of the top of the washer, Make sure the drain hose isnt stuck in the drain it also needs an air cap. the drain hose should not lay on the floor to run to the drain
Please let me know if this doesnt solve your problems
