This TV is just at 5 years old and has worked great with no problems until out of the blue it has no power and will not turn on. Thanks for any help.

tv will not turn on power light continues to flash. Tried hard reset, no luck.
Tried the reset on the front of the tv, no luck. Checked the fuse in the back, it is good. Now what? I would like to watch it, but it will not turn on.
Thank you I hope you can help.

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:
12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected

Thanks for your help, but I got it to turn on.
I pushed the reset a bunch of times, the light continued to flash then went off. It worked to my surprise. At least it is working for now. I hope it lasts. This has been happpening for a couple of months. This being the longest time off.
Thanks agian
Susie
I checked the fuse, it was good. I used to be a digitronics tech so touching was not an issue. Thanks for you info. It is working after pushing the reset numerous times.
