SM8280867 water not going out. stops spinning futher

1.try to unplug your unit then wait for 5 minutes
2.plug back your unit
3.program back your unit and start

sounds like the motor bushing there is no easy way to check

See if all the connections are tight; try inter-changing the water pipes. Water should have good pressure at faucet.......

you can put the extraction pipe /drain hose to ground level and water will drain then should open vacume switch thw programer is at fault as the programe sticks

you can find disassembly video on youtube,chances are you probably need a coupling,part no.285753a u can find exploded image/parts from sears .com

you need to check a simple button called " no spin" may you will see it marked "aspiral shap" and has "x" over

Replace the timer.

Hello brendalee. The unit is not performing the rinse cycle. I can suggest you VERY SLOWLY turn the control knob a click or two and see if the water for the rinse cycle starts when the unit stops after the wash cycle. Unit should fill, wash again, and spin. If the machine never spins I will need Mgfr, model, & serial # to assist you futher if you wish to use some hand tools and repair the unit. Good Luck.

There is a service brochure inside the machine and you can access the info on the self tests by finding this brochure. It may be that one of the springs or balancers on the drum holder is bad, loose or broken.
