Car amplifiers can anyone tell me if i can connect a car amplifier (not just the one below..any) up to my mourdauntspeakers and just use a home CD player? its just it seems a slightly cheaper option?? thanks guys

For connecting these to your amplifier you need 4 Stereo RCA Cable.
1.Connection for cd:
Take one of the RCA cable connect the one end (red/white) jack to the line out of your cd and connect the other end (red/white) to the CD input of Your amplifier.
2. Connecting the tunner:
Take one of the RCA cable and connect the one end (red/white) jack to the line output of you Tuner and connect the other end (red/white) to the TUNER input of your amplifier.
3. Connectiong the tape deck:
Now you have two RCA cable. Take one of the RCA cable and connect the one end (red/white) jacks to the PLAY out of the Tape deck and connect the other end (red/white) to the TAPE 1 play input of your amplifier.
Now connect the last RCA cable. Connect the one end (red/white) jack to the record input of the TAPE deck And connect the other end (red/white) to the TAPE 1 Record input of your amplifier.(this connection will help you to record to tape from cd or tuner. if you are not interested in recording then you can avoid this connection.)

Now you can select these three items from the frond plannel control switch of the amplifier.

The amp will only go as low as 100hz regardless of what input is fed to it.

yes you can connect another cd player to the DAT input of your amp.
input connections like DAT, TUNER, CD, AUX etc (except phono) is just to differentiate between what sources are connected, the amp cannot tell what source is connected and will output the sound no problem.

as for the remote operation, if the 2 technics cd players are switched on at the same time they're going to do what you command from the remote together but you'll obviously be listening to 1 at a time.

LETS SEE IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE AMPLIFIER ITSELF OR IF SOMETHING IN THE INSTALL REMOVE THE RCA INPUTS AND DISCONNECT THE SPEAKERS, THEN POWER THE AMPLIFIER UP WITH THIS NO INPUT, NO SPEAKER LOAD CONDITION. IF IT STILL GOES INTO PROTECTION OR FAILS TO POWER UP AND YOU HAVE VERIFIED THAT THE POSITIVE AND ESPECIALLY THE GROUND CONNECTIONS, ALONG WITH THE REMOTE CONNECTIONS ARE 100%, THEN THE AMPLIFIER WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED. SOMETIMES THE RADIO CAN HAVE A DEFECTIVE SAGGING BELOW 11 VOLTS REMOTE OUTPUT WHICH WILL CAUSE THE AMPLIFIER TO NOT POWER UP. IF YOU DISCONNECT THE RADIOS REMOTE LEAD AT THE AMPLIFIER AND TEMPORARILY INSTALL A JUMPER FROM THE POSITIVE POWER TERMINAL AND THE REMOTE TERMINAL OF THE AMPLIFIER, THIS WILL NORMALLY FORCE THE AMPLIFIER ON. AT THIS POINT,YOU HAVE TOTALLY BENCHED THE AMPLIFIER AS IT WILL NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL INSTALLATION AND IF STILL FAULTY IT SIMPLY WILL HAVE TO BE SERVICED. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V

always remember source, amp, then speakers. ex: cd to eq to amp to speakers and it goes: out from cd player into eq, out from eq into amp, out from amp into speakers . hope this makes it easier for you.

connect your media source(dvd-cd player)to equalizer in-connect equalizer out to amplifier line in-or aux in-connect amplifier out to your loudspeaker.

Check your power cable, for bad connections.
Make sure voltage dont drop below 10.8v.
