My daughters wedding was video taped with the flip camera. Operator turned the camera horizontal during filming. Is there any software that will allow me to flip the picture of the video file?

Hi,

To rotate or flip the picture of the video file, you can try Free Video Flip and Rotate which can be downloaded from: http://dvdvideosoft.com/download/FreeVideoFlipAndRotate.exe

The program is simple and very easy to use.

Hope this solves your problem. For more help and clarifications, please feel free to reply to this post.

I accidentally erased my daughters's wedding!!! can it be retrieved?

Possibly. Important: Take no more video with the Flip until you've recovered the videos! This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" wedding videos. There are many good freeware photo/video recovery software options that may help you recover your videos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones. Try for the ones that are listed in the article as being capable of recovering videos. If these don't work for you (but really they should if you just simply erased the videos), you might want to try some of the payware versions (with free preview features), or consider professional video recovery services.

I have an Everio GZ-MG130E Camcorder but I've lost the software when my computer crashed Where can I download so that i can transfer the film of my daughters wedding to my computer.

Hi Antonius,

Welcome to FixYa.

Unfortunately, JVC does not provide the complete software for download. You will have to purchase the software by contacting JVC support in your country.

But, you can transfer the files to your computer without installing the software as shown in the below images:

Pixelation and sound drop out

This case sounds like really dirty picture and sound heads in camera and tape kept sticking so exposure was on each part of tape too long.
Keep camera heads shiny and clean by buying camera tape cleaner.

yes, there is a good software that has powerful editing functions, such as capture images, adjust flip video contrast, brightness and saturation and to apply special video effects including old film, gray and emboss, remove unwanted footages from flip videos, and so on.

Horizontal grey lines on tape playback

please state the age of your devices. It can help a great lot in solving your problems. The lines that you get aren't continuous, are they? They appear to be going up and down, are different sizes and shift as the tape plays, yes? well, this is simple. You need to clean your recording head.

I have a JVC GR-DX25EK digital video camera which I have had for several years and never had any problems with. I used it yesterday to video my daughters wedding but when the tape ran out I couldn't...

The tape must be broken or rolled inside the camera, try to see if you can open the camera door a bit and force tape out. You will probably lose the tape.
