If it repeatably blows the fuse, it is a transformer problem. You can order a new one through Fisher Scientific. The part # is XP-MC2-TR1. They are around $40.

Sounds like you have the wrong bulb installed. This scope requires a 6v-20w halogen bulb. They are available from: Delta Optical Instruments, Inc. email: [email protected]

If this is not the case then there is a short in the electrical system. It could be in the wiring, the transformer, or the rheostat.
    It can be repaired.
    Again, Delta Optical Instruments, Inc.

How to deduce the centrifugation speed from the scale provided?

Do you have a biomedical group in your facility or somebody who's responsible for maintaining your equipment? If you do, they should have a photo-tachometer. They can place a piece of reflective tape onto the rotor to get you the true rpm speed. You probably need an accurate speed anyway to ensure proper rcf for your samples.

F0002 fault. motor windings check out and not grounded.

Better late than never.......
F0002 is indicating an overvoltage for one or more of a number of reasons.
It is common on all of the Micromaster units to easily suffer this fault as a result of damage from a few possible causes.
I am unaware of your competence level so reluctant to detail specifics.
Probably beyond economical repair unless you have plenty of time to play!

Please remember these units can KILL YOU STONE DEAD if you don't know what you are doing.
Please leave it to the specialists. Some places offer a free inspection and quote service. Need I say more.......

I have loaded the games on my IXL but I can not get it to come up. It just stays on the fisher price page. Please help me to open the iXl

Usually the game console require compartibility to the game disk for an exprience to be achieved. For example, acquiring a game disk is not compartible to acquiring readability in a DVD or media disk player. The game disk require a game model player to achieve user experiences. Show up at Toys Rus stores to acquire compartible gaming consoles. Good luck

The mechanical stage adjustment on my fisher scientific micromaster does not go (either to the left or right) as far as it previously did. I am no longer able to read the entire field of a rafter cell...

The gear that runs along the stage is probably loose. It is held in place by three screws. If the gear is nots parrallel with the X/Y axis gear it will bind. My guess would be that it is the two outer ones that are loose, thereby creating a see-saw affect.
