I just bought a T3i and only used it 2 days of shooting. On third day, it's not turning on and it's 80 degree's. So not cold weather. Batteries are fully charged. When I put batter in and turn the switch on, the red light comes on for only a second and then nothing! Other times the red light won't even come on, period. As I said, I've only had it 3 days and it's dead....
Try first removing the batter for about 5 minutes to refresh the camera, then make sure also that the battery is fully charge...then after that check the camera again...
I have had problems with mine for quite some time. My last 2 vacations involved me taking the batteries out everytime between pictures and rubbing their ends, sometimes that would help.
