Instructions for model 1188

Hi Diana - To record your outgoing message, hold down your ogm button ( outgoing message) for two seconds and it will ask you to record a message. To play back your message, just push the same button and it will play your message. If you don't like it just do it again. If this solves your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. To playback OGM press 3
To record new OGM press 4
To record memo, press 5
To set code, press 9 1
To delete messages, press 9 then 3
To set answering machine off, press 9 5
To set line off, press 9 9

Note: if you wish to skip the Help Menu while listening to the voice prompts, press the # button to exit the Help Menu. Press any code within 9 seconds to perform one remote operation.
You can enter the instruction code anytime during the Help Menu announcement. At the end fo the announcement, you have 9 seconds to enter the code before the System resets itself. Once you enter the instruction code there are voice prompts to guide you through.
If you set the first digit of your security code as 9, the system will play back new messages automatically after you enter the entire code.

Need instructuionm book for Bell south answer machine 1204CD or any other that may help me to set speed dialing.

Have bellsouth model 1188 answering machine and lost manual, I'm going on vacation and will be calling to get message and want to know how take message off after hearing them?? [email protected]. Thanks for any HELP!
