Our Super Gaucho 24volts is 2-years-old and barely used. Now the battery is not lasting to long. Is this normal? I mean, with a more frequent charging/use will its performance be improved? Thx ahead & brgds

Unfortunately the batteries just lose their holding power after awhile, and if you don't keep them charged every few months (like during winter if your child isn't riding, you still need to charge / refresh the battery every 2 months or so, if it isn't charged for a few months, it'll lose some of it's holding power), that's a very common problem. Our 24V Perego batteries for our Gaucho only seem to last like 30 minutes of constant riding (my son rides non stop sometimes for 30+ minutes). If you check out the site modifiedpowerwheels.com , people convert them to use non Perego batteries that run for much longer!

I forgot to say before, once it doesn't last as long, it never will again, you can't make a battery perform better, it'll just continue to only last awhile and even less as time goes on, just need to charge it every few months if not being used, to keep it fresh.

Hi,I used to be able to use my laptop (acer aspire 5733) for more than 3 hours, but now it barely lasts an hour! any idea how I can calibrate it without damage???

If your laptop is a little old even only a year or 2 old, then the battery is just wearing out and you will have to get a new one. Unfortunately laptop batteries only last a few years before they really lose their charge even with good care. To try and make it last longer use the battery managment if you havent already.

Hello, after winter pause now our Gaucho Superpower doesn't want to move, the green led is on but no moving forward and also backward. What can be the cause? Many thanks, Alex

Most likely is the battery, if not maintained properly the battery will die if left uncharged for a few months. The Superpower has a controller much like a scooter controller, built into the controller is a low voltage shut off. If the battery is not providing at least 21.5V under load, it will shut down and not move.
Do an ebay search for RBC6 batteries and get 2 12V 12ah batteries, wire them in series to get 24V and use the yellow connector to connect it to your Super Power. You should be able to get them shipped to your door for around $44 vs paying $125 for the Peg original.

My nokia n70 frequently restarts and the battery lasts not more than 10 hours.

Hi!... Try to reformat or reflashing the phone. An updated software is available at their site and the instruction on how to format. And with your battery problem, if you are using voice calls frequently it 10 hours is normal or if not, if your battery is already 1 1/2 to 2 years try to replace with new.

My Suzuki GS500F has only 500 miles and is 2006. I had the battery charged at Battery Mart, but it still will not run. Every time I push the start button the headlight goes off, but the light stays on for...

The battery LOOKS new. Your battery is three years old. Batteries age quickly. They normally last 2 to 2-1/2 years. Just get a new battery and ride the bike more frequently. In lieu of that, get a cheap 1amp or 2amp trickle charger and charge the battery for two hours once a week. Be sure to keep water over the plates in each cell.

Very slow 2nd hand peg perego gaucho

I have the same issue. Called their customer service and they said it was a defect in the charging system. They are sending a upgrade kit for free, but when it's installed you can't charge the battery using the rear port anymore. No big deal. I'll report back when the fix is complete. 5-7 days until it gets here.

Digital rebel battery drain with flash only

I would suspect the batteries

Ive got an eos Rebel think its just over 4 years old
for the last year its been used every weekend for several hours 300+ pics per weekend between 2 nights I found that recently where one battery would last a night the battery was running out midway through & also taking longer to charge afterwards

2 after market replacements cost me about £10 and things are back to normal

5 years is a pretty good lifespan for a battery so its probably just getting old
