most head units wiring are universal. red-ignition, black-groung, yellow-12v battery....ect. Go buy an install kit for your truck, make sure it's the right year, and trust me, it'll make life easier.

There is another solution to the radio being locked up you can try,,, If you look REALLY hard under the volume knob of your radio on the front there is a VERY small reset button. This worked for me last time, if this doesnt work then try calling them. If there originally was NO code number entered than this will work. Good luck, let me know how it turns out.

2) using buttons 1 thru 4 set the time while holding the display button down. ( buttons 1 and 2 adjust the hour, buttons 3 and 4 the minutes...

If you lose your preset stations as well, it means that your memory wire (sometimes yellow sometimes red) is not hooked to a constant power source. Get a testlight and find a wire in where the radio is at that has constant power once you find that attach the memory wire.

Here's how to set the clock on the Eclipse 55430:

1. Press the [DISP] button repeatedly to switch to the clock adjustment mode.
2. To adjust the hour, press either button [1] or [2] while holding the [DISP] button down.
3. To adjust the minutes, press either button [3] or [4] while holding the [DISP] button down.
