My Sony TV has lost it's picture and sound. It is completely dead. The green power light shows that the unit is on, but every 20 seconds ago, the green light flashes red 11 times (standby red) before staying green again, then repeating the process.
Power is obviously getting to the TV but I really am stumped. Any ideas what is wrong or what the flashing light sequence indicates?
Thanks!
Jon

Seven Blinks: High voltage shutdown. The high voltage has exceeded 33k and the unit goes immediately into shutdown. Check power supply and horizontal circuits.

try checking the soldered joints on the main circut board that attach the larger metal components...I re-soldered aprox 40 connections and now the tv works great!

The power supply board is failing. There are twi integrated circuits in the horizontal drive circuitry that have to be replaced. The original integrated circuits are the same type and you will see written on each..."MCZ3001D" and need to be replaced with Sony # 670581001 or the "D" board with those parts on it needs to be replaced. The cost of the entire board is high-about $375.

probably, you have to call for a technician to check for it, the switch of the tv might have some dis alignment of cables
