You need to remove the agitator take the cap off and remove the bolt from inside the agitator and then remove it look at the metal trunion in the bottom of the tub and see if there is a broken bolt holding the trunion to the shaft.there is a chance the transmission need to be replace if there is no broken bolt

Frigidaire Washer/Dryer Combo FEX831CS0 won't work

Hello Laura Clark - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, you possibly have a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Try setting the cycle to spin only and verify if water pumps out. If it does not, the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with the pump, door lock assembly or timer. Since it is such a complex unit, I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately

Washer won't spin after rinse cycle

Hello Dorothy - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.

My washing machine will not spin. It sounds like its off track or off gear or something. It just makes a horribly loud noise.

Most important in such a case is a perfect observation. So remove power and look for the motor drive. Manually check for the drive turning the pulley of the motor , check if there is any jamming or mechanical fault in the drive shaft , if so you will need to reset - over haul - this section.

Frigidaire was tub makes loud thump noise during spin cycle....

Need more information to make an accurate diagnosis, try removing the front panel (two screws at bottom) and visually check first the belt (all the way around) and then the springs that hold the tub suspended.
I would bet on the belt.
